"As a third generation Punjabi, born and brought up in Bangkok, my family is one of the oldest and well known names in the textiles business there. Thus, my love affair with fashion started at a very young age. "I often accompanied my Dad to the shop and watched him sell fine french laces, chiffons and velvets to women of all ages and from various walks of life. I learned from early on that the difference between style and fashion is quality. My fashion mantra has always been 'Quality over Quantity'.

I first walked into Jinder's store on a tryst to find clothes as 3 of my nieces were getting married in the same year. I met Jinder Aunty and instantly hit it off with her. She is a very stylish lady and even today at 70 plus she puts us girls to shame. Always stylish and impeccably dressed her store reflected the same. The clothes were very trendy, good fabrics and reasonably priced. I got a lot of complements for the outfits. They have now expanded even more after Soniyah her daughter-in-law took over and there is even more variety and range to cater to every occasion be it wedding or an elegant saree with a sexy blouse for diwali festivities. The store is conveniently located and their tailors are very professional often putting up with my demands for the most tricky saree blouses lol!!"
